What is Women's Health in Today's World

Women's Health

Diet and lifestyle are very important, fundamental factors affecting the health and well-being of women, regardless of age.

The basis for taking care of women's health is regular prophylaxis and diagnostics, which goes together with a healthy diet and lifestyle tailored to your needs. Care for your health should be tailored to your age and individual needs.

Insufficient or excessive energy and nutritional intake demand in women's diet can lead to serious health problems, including e.g. hair loss, brittle nails, anaemia, weakening of the immune system, chronic fatigue, and weight gain.

Main goal is to provide the right amount of nutrients and calories. Diet for women should provide a dose of vitamins, proteins and a sufficient amount of minerals. Excessive amounts of saturated fats are not recommended.

Diet

The diet should be subordinated to you, not you to the diet. Even the healthiest and best-balanced diet will not work if we are unable to implement it. No matter what lifestyle you lead, we will adapt the optimal diet to it, which will help you achieve your dream goal.

Increased demand for nutrients in women, occurs primarily during the period, colds, or increased professional activity. Women whose menstrual periods are excessively heavy or irregular may develop deficiencies, e.g. iron, the occurrence of possible anaemia caused by a deficiency of this element.

Prophylaxis

It is worth taking care of basic preventive examinations to be able to enjoy good health as long as possible.

A set of prophylaxis tests recommended for women's that are worth doing once a year:

  • Smear morphology
  • Lipidogram
  • Folic acid
  • Vitamin B12 and D3
  • Ferrytyna
  • Serum iron
  • Serum potassium
  • Glucose
  • Fasting insulin
  • TSH, fT3, fT4
  • Liver tests

Additionally:

  • Gynaecological examination
  • Liquid cytology (LBC)
  • Ultrasound of the reproductive organs
  • Breast ultrasound
  • Thyroid ultrasound
  • BMI measurement
  • Blood pressure measurement

Despite the ranges of reference values visible in the results, the patient should not self-assess their health. The proper interpretation should be done by a registered clinical dietitian or a doctor who knows the full medical record of the patient.
